Well, after doing a bunch of research and checking out the testimonials here and somewhere else, I decided to buy 16x24x1 (15.5 x 23.5) Accumulair Emerald Filter (MERV 6) (4 Pack). Though I 'd have liked a better warranty, I decided the features were appealing enough to attempt it. It is a bunch of money to throw away if it fails simply after the warranty. I am totally in love with this item. It is high quality product, smart features. I just got it today, and I will update my testimonial later if required.
NOT TRUE SIZE - AVOID
This filter measures about 1/2" smaller on each side than what is advertised.
This in effect causes the filter to NOT create an air-tight seal and can slide around in the housing.
DO NOT BUY - not having the true sizes loses effectiveness.
