I got this item about 3 days back and am very pleased with the item. I had an Friedrich CP05G10 5450 btu - 115 volt - 10.7 EER Chill series room air conditioner (window installation only). and I would never ever buy again. Up until now so great. Cannot be worse than the Friedrich CP05G10 5450 btu - 115 volt - 10.7 EER Chill series room air conditioner (window installation only). Likewise if you registered it on line you got an added two months warranty.

I'm writing this review to warn you that you will not be receiving the unit picture or described above. It is an older model that does not have the auto-sweep features nor does is have a similar profile. It looks old and is not what I was expecting from Amazon. After speaking to Customer Service, I've been left with two of these units sitting in my living room and no apology or remedy to their error. I feel that I've been tricked into a "bait and switch" scheme, which is very uncharacteristic of Amazon.

Most Underlined Buyer Review : quiet hard blowing little a/c
This a/c has more than others which I`ve come to expect from Friedrich. You pay more but get a lot more. It blows very hard and quiet for it`s size. Timer is great to get the bedroom cold for bed time. Remote control has led display. Thought it doesn`t have swinging louvers like the big Friedrichs but it doesn`t matter to me. Very happy overall with this very good value at $219.00. I also noticed it has a " dry " mode which dehumidifies the room which is good after mopping the floor to dry it.
