What is there to say about this except that it's a typical window unit air conditioner installation kit? There's nothing special about it. The only thing remarkable about this unit is that it has to be purchased separately if you buy a Friedrich Kuhl unit that includes heat. For some reason, if you buy a Kuhl that is AC only you get the installation kit with it, but if you get a combo AC/heat unit, you have to buy the installation kit separately.
Do they think you're going to set the AC/heat unit in the middle of the floor or something? It makes no sense to me.
As with all window unit install kits, I'd very much like for this to be more substantial, more secure, more insulative, and more sound dampening, but this one has the same plastic accordion sides and crappy foam strips as any other unit.
Somehow I expected more from Friedrich.
